Authorities said Mexican police contacted Castillo in Tijuana on Saturday for reasons that were not made available. When Mexican officials learned Castillo was wanted in connection with the shootings, they turned him over to Carlsbad detectives at the San Ysidro border crossing.
Castillo was booked into the Vista jail, and his bail was set at $2 million, police said.

The Sheriff’s Department and agents from the Department of Homeland Security made four arrests at the Happy Foot Massage Parlor in Vista Saturday after looking into allegations of prostitution.
Authorities received reports of a high number of men visiting the massage parlor on East Vista Way near Vale Terrace Drive at various hours of the day and night over the last several weeks.

VISTA, Calif. — Four people were arrested on suspicion of municipal code violations — including unlawful touching and unsanitary conditions — in an undercover operation that targeted a Vista massage parlor, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department reported Sunday.
The Happy Foot Massage Parlor at 931 East Vista Way was the target of Saturday’s operation by the Sheriff’s Vista Station Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving Unit along with agents from the Department of Homeland Security, according to Sgt. Joe Mata.
The sheriff’s department had received reports that a high volume of men were visiting the business throughout day and evening hours, Mata said. Deputies were also looking into allegations of prostitution at the massage parlor over the past several weeks, he said.

Leon Johnson, 58, was found guilty of first-degree murder last month in the death of Angelina Luz Borrayo, who was fatally strangled in November 1975 at the downtown massage parlor where she worked.
San Diego Superior Court Judge Charles Rogers sentenced Johnson to seven years to life in prison, the maximum punishment for murder in 1975. He will have to start serving that term in California if he is ever released in Mississippi.
Johnson, a former Camp Pendleton Marine, was convicted of murder in 1982 for killing a 55-year-old convenience store clerk in Meridian, Miss. In 1976, he raped a 21-year-old woman at a store in Alabama.
Jurors in San Diego were told that police responded to the Twilight Massage Parlor on Fifth Avenue the afternoon of Nov. 22, 1975. A female worker there told a dispatcher that Borrayo had been beaten and knocked out by a patron.

BONITA SPRINGS -
An undercover operation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics/Vice Unit resulted in the arrest of a 53-year-old woman on Thursday.
The operation was conducted at Sunset Spa, located at 24971 S. Tamiami Trail in Bonita Springs, in an effort to target females working there that were soliciting sex for money.
According to reports, the undercover detective entered the massage parlor and paid 53-year-old Mei Gao $60 for a massage.
The detective was escorted to a private back room where he was instructed to undress and lay on a table.
He was given a 15-minute massage before Gao asked him if he wanted more. The detective gave Gao an additional $100, at which time she proceeded to touch and rub his genitals.
